My name is Dan Pelchat, and I’m running to represent our community in the Michigan House of Representatives District 49.
I’ve spent my entire life in this district, raising my family here and serving our community in many ways, from working in our local schools to serving as Mayor of South Lyon. I believe our district deserves leadership that understands the people who live here, the challenges we face, and the opportunities we share.

I recently participated in a candidate forum hosted by the League of Women Voters of Livingston County, along with fellow candidate Trevor Step(L) where we answered questions submitted by the public. (The incumbent candidate was not present). These forums are a great opportunity to share our platforms in a fair, nonpartisan setting and give voters a chance to hear directly from candidates.
