As the husband of a public school teacher and a longtime school district employee, Dan understands the importance of strong schools.

Infrastructure & Local Investment
Dan believes Michigan must invest in the infrastructure that communities depend on every day.
During his time as mayor, he helped lead the effort to pass an $18.4 million infrastructure bond in South Lyon to repair roads and modernize infrastructure.
As state representative, he will continue fighting for:
- Safer roads
- Modern infrastructure
- Smart investment in local communities

Protecting Women’s Rights
Dan strongly supports a woman’s right to make her own healthcare decisions.
He believes government should respect personal freedom and ensure that women maintain control over their own bodies and medical choices.
Protecting Michigan’s Environment
Michigan’s land, water, and air are central to the state’s identity and economy.
Dan supports policies that protect clean water, clean air, open spaces, and natural resources for future generations
